Purpose:

PG Tech LLC is committed to preventing money laundering activities and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. This policy sets out the company's approach to detect, prevent, and report money laundering activities.

Scope:

This policy applies to all employees, officers, directors, and in certain circumstances, third-party associates of PG Tech LLC.

Definition of Money Laundering:

Money laundering is defined as the process of making illegally-gained proceeds appear legal, which typically involves three steps: placement, layering, and integration.

Legal and Regulatory Framework:

As a Belize-based company, PG Tech LLC complies with Belize's Money Laundering (Prevention) Act, and other relevant international regulations like the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) Recommendations.

Customer Due Diligence (CDD):

PG Tech LLC will conduct CDD for all new customers and monitor existing customers for suspicious activity. This process will involve gathering and verifying information about the customer's identity and assessing their risk profile.

Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD):

For high-risk customers, the company will perform EDD, which may involve obtaining additional information on the customer's source of funds and source of wealth.

Record Keeping:

Records of all identification data, account files, and business correspondence shall be maintained for at least five years from the end of the customer relationship or the date of the occasional transaction.

Reporting Suspicious Activity:

All employees are required to report any suspicious transactions to the company's appointed Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO). The MLR is responsible for making a decision on these reports and for reporting to the relevant authorities where necessary.

Training:

PG Tech LLC will provide regular AML training to all relevant staff to ensurethey understand and can implement the policy.

Review:

This policy will be reviewed at least annually to ensure it is up-to-date with the latest regulations and best practices.
